Dancing through Life: Standards of Beer →
ashleyaway:
My good friend and I have decided to start building a database of all the beers we consume that way when were in need of some hoppy advice we can look back and see our consumption. This is also a pleasing way to make sure we do not become alcoholics. I believe the scale is easy enough, however…
I’m that friend :)

Another Rough Draft complete this evening.
I feel rather accomplished as I sit drinking a Coca-Cola at Chrystel’s apartment at 11:05 pm on a thursday evening. Since October I have been working on a composition based on my interpretation of Grimm’s Fairy tale, Little Red Cap, and I finally made the ending this evening. Though the work has a bit more to do I feel confident that so much effort and work was worth it and see...

After a few hours:
I finished reading the entire H.R.1540, also known as the:
National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012.
Now as I read I can see maybe a few places where people could get confused and angry about…but to be completely honest logically this is a pretty basic bill that I can’t see any reason for anyone to truly be upset. It was almost like reading a inventory guide saying...

H.R.1540
I have noticed quite an abundance of complaining to the H.R.1540 Bill, and as I read it I really am unable to see what the fuss is about. I am only through a minute portion, but so far it all seems pretty self explanatory and nothing really groundbreaking or disturbing. However I’ll keep reading and seeing what I find.

Update on the newest composition
working on my composition I can’t help but not know how I want to end it. Sorrowful? Maybe she doesn’t come out of it. A dark triumph perhaps with the wolf celebrating his victory over the hunter. Or should I have a triumph over the wolf by said hunter. Hmmm decisions decisions. Anyone have an opinion on an ending for this musical telling of Little Red Cap?

This new years
This new years I want but one thing,
A kiss from the only woman I’ll ever love. She glows in the moonlight, with flawless beauty,
She is the only woman I’ll ever love.
When the clock rings of twelve notes in a row, I’ll be longing for that same said thing. A kiss from the only woman I’ll ever love, because nothing is worth more to me.

peppermintpattyy asked: Stephen my friend, you have a way with words. It's very refreshing to read your posts because you have an eloquence that a lot of people (including myself!) lack. Good stuff, man.

My heart is yours,
not for the taking but the keeping.
I have given it to you,
and the intentions are loving.
You are my best friend,

my favorite comedian.
You are my one,
and my only
true love.
I love you my Dear <3

Immaturity
Immaturity doesn’t mean you know how to have fun, it means you don’t know how to act like an adult. I hate that people think I’m lame because I don’t get giggly at every chance possible, because I don’t get into certain things. I agree sometimes I am being a stick in the mud but I must say in general maturity doesn’t mean I don’t have fun.
I laugh at...

Sometimes
I just want to stop…but my brain sits and doesn’t let me. Why? Why is there any idea of initial stoppage, and why can’t I execute it?
A long
A long day,
Starts with a long morning,
followed by a long afternoon,
which is right behind a long evening.
I am exhausted in a few ways. And yet I am not sure what exactly to say or do.

You know who they are
They took me to scarborough fair, which was across the bridge over troubled water. They taught me the greatness that is feelin’ groovy, and warned me of cecilia and her ways. They taught me that the sound of silence can be beautiful. And we all know that Jesus loves Mrs. Robinson.

What a compliment!
As you may see below on this blog, I had quite the compliment through an introduction today. And though usually I’d sluff something like this off easily, I felt this was truly a compliment given through true belief. He was introducing me to his wife, who he has no reason to say that I’m good or not, just the fact that I am a composition student. My goodness, I feel rather intelligent...

What is wrong with human compassion.
I have noticed, at least from where I am, that compassion of the common man has been tossed out the window. As I watch a video on health care and here the arguments of people around me I find it strange that someone would help a poor “child” from another country, yet an adult who TRIES to pay for their health insurance but due to the lack of coverage by the private insurance company...

A little wonder
As I scrolled through the tumblr pages I noticed a lack of anything really substantial throughout all of the pages I follow. This somewhat made me sigh, I felt that I was following more than this, perhaps I need to find some more people who actually type on this website.
Saying such all I am doing is whining, so what makes me any better? The fact that I type out whiney concerns that anyone could...

As rather we do and how I know you…
To love to jump to sing and to hop.
What am I but another moon of Saturn?
But as a reply not be shy…
Understanding is truly in my hands.
For you only need one moon.

Warm to the touch and a quickened beating.

TV shows
I am really starting to wonder if I can handle “adult” situations on television. I walked in on my grandmother watching CSI Miami, and the man was arrested for murdering a jiggolo his wife hired. This actually upset me, I felt hurt. Ya the man deserves to go to jail for murder, however the situation was really quite depressing to me. A wife cheating on the husband for pleasure… I...

Where does she lay this eve?
To the west she falls into the sea, only to return to me.
But only in its resurrection, from the east can she be seen.
Controlled by a pull, yet under it skin
there is some power deep within.
Raising and lowering, future and past.
Reoccurrence never seem to last.
