After seeing MIB3
After seeing the movie now I really could take a full grasp on the score itself. It actually works quite beautifully throughout the film! MIB 3 Score
This year of 2012 Danny Elfman has composed a score for the upcoming MIB movie, in theaters now. I have listened to the score in its entirety and am not very impressed.
Let me begin by stating that I have not yet seen the movie, so I am assuming this score will work much better with the movie. This critique is strictly on how the score holds on its own.

How nice
The end of tour. Boyfriends, Girlfriends, wives, parents, loved ones, best friends. The day home from tour there are people surrounding the bus to picked up all their loved ones. As I drove home I smile and say…how nice.

On tour- Day 4
As of now this tour is going very well. I have eaten far too much and enjoyed a bit of it. However I dreadfully miss the love of my life, my family, my friends at home, and my bed. Oh how I miss my bed, I haven’t received a decent amount of sleep yet on tour.

Little Red- A composer's thoughts
A new piece is finished, and I must say this is at the top of my list of favorite compositions of mine. Little Red, based on Grimm’s Fairy Tale, is a twist of the usual story. Frustration
I find it funny that a trip to the grocery store, a cute song, and a nice man can really remind you of what really matters. Though I was offended earlier, this chain of events has calmed me down and for the most part placed my mind at ease.

Another Rough Draft complete this evening.
I feel rather accomplished as I sit drinking a Coca-Cola at Chrystel’s apartment at 11:05 pm on a thursday evening. Update on the newest composition
working on my composition I can’t help but not know how I want to end it. Sorrowful? Maybe she doesn’t come out of it. A dark triumph perhaps with the wolf celebrating his victory over the hunter. Or should I have a triumph over the wolf by said hunter. Hmmm decisions decisions. Anyone have an opinion on an ending for this musical telling of Little Red Cap?

Immaturity
Immaturity doesn’t mean you know how to have fun, it means you don’t know how to act like an adult. I hate that people think I’m lame because I don’t get giggly at every chance possible, because I don’t get into certain things.
