I have noticed, at least from where I am, that compassion of the common man has been tossed out the window. As I watch a video on health care and here the arguments of people around me I find it strange that someone would help a poor “child” from another country, yet an adult who TRIES to pay for their health insurance but due to the lack of coverage by the private insurance company they are unable to continue living in their own home because of the lack of pay. I find it selfish that people just decide that this lady with cancer did it to herself and refuse to help, yet these innocent little kids is a totally different donation, when in fact they are in no more worthy of our compassion than the adults.
This may be a liberal health care idea to help all, however God tells us to love one another and give compassion to our fellow man…not just our children.
Society picks and choses what is right and wrong, think before you chose.
