Dr. Wood

As you may see below on this blog, I had quite the compliment through an introduction today. And though usually I’d sluff something like this off easily, I felt this was truly a compliment given through true belief. He was introducing me to his wife, who he has no reason to say that I’m good or not, just the fact that I am a composition student. My goodness, I feel rather intelligent and honored to have such a title, though I am unsure if I am truly deserving of such. Maybe someday I’ll accept myself as a good composer, or in this case even a composing student, but right now I feel I have so much more I can do to grow that it felt more like an honor to be thought of that way. What a great inspiration and nice thing to implant into my mind. Thank you Dr. Pickett. ^_^
